Job description of Retail Salesperson:

A Retail Salesperson for Verizon is a role within Verizon Wireless stores or authorized retailers where the primary responsibility is to sell Verizon products and services to customers. This role typically involves working directly with customers who visit the store or retail location, assisting them in choosing the right wireless devices, plans, and accessories that meet their needs.

Responsibilities of Retail Salesperson:

• Generate retail sales by using your passion for cutting-edge technology, and exceptional customer service to expand the Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down sales solution.
• Close sales by using phenomenal communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions.
• Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory.
• Refine your sales skills through outbound calls to current Verizon customers interested in our products and services.

We are urgently hiring for an entry-level position with a salary range from $43,000 to $56,000 per year, comprising of base salary, team-based commission and individual performance incentives. The compensation package is reliant on your geographical location, and full-time benefits are offered to all employees from day one.

Requirement needed for Retail Salesperson:

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of work experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (you'll know your schedule four weeks in advance).
• Openness to pick up additional shifts and earn more income, typically during the summer months, November through December, and/or during peak vacation periods.
• Even better if you have one or more of the following
• Experience working in a commission-based environment.
• Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions.
• Customer service experience.

New external hires may receive a sign-up bonus of $2500, subject to the terms of the agreement. The bonus payout will take place in two parts, with 50% distributed at the end of the first month and the remainder after a total of nine months have passed.
