Responsibilities of Dispatcher:

• Safely and efficiently transport goods to clients or businesses within the designated timeframe.
• Manage a range of delivery responsibilities, such as the transportation and handling of goods, guaranteeing the precision and integrity of each delivery.
• Before and after the delivery, ensure to check the orders meticulously to verify their completeness, accuracy of charges, and customer satisfaction. Stay in touch with the central dispatch unit for any alterations in delivery instructions or schedules.
• Obtain payments and signatures from clients as needed and oversee the handling of transaction documentation.
• Regularly inspect the delivery vehicle to maintain optimal performance levels and promptly notify management of any mechanical issues or incidents.
• Follow the designated paths within the city and make sure to comply with all traffic rules and regulations during your journey.
• Maintain the secrecy and protect the safety of the items when delivering them.

Qualifications of Dispatcher:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a courier or delivery driver. Valid professional driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Familiarity with using GPS devices and local geographical knowledge for efficient navigation.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; capable of managing tight schedules.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy items and stand for extended periods.
