Job Summary of Delivery Person:

Kelly Services relies on Delivery Person to play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and secure transport of documents, packages, and other items to clients and businesses. This position requires punctuality, dependability, and the ability to handle items carefully.

Responsibilities of Delivery Person:

• Transport and distribute items to clients or businesses in a secure and efficient fashion.
• Conduct a variety of delivery activities including loading and unloading tasks, ensuring the correctness and quality of all items being delivered.
• Validate the completeness and accuracy of orders before and after delivery, including double-checking charges and confirming customer satisfaction. Maintain an open line of communication with the central dispatch unit to promptly receive any updates on delivery instructions or schedule modifications.
• Acquire payments and signatures from clients as needed and oversee the management of transaction receipts.
• Keep the delivery vehicle in check through consistent maintenance inspections to ensure it runs smoothly, and inform management of any faults or mishaps.
• Travel through a range of pathways within the city and make sure to adhere to all traffic laws and regulations without fail.
• Keep the items confidential and secure during transit.

Qualifications of Delivery Person:

• Obtaining a high school diploma or an alternative certification of completion.
• Documented experience as a delivery driver or courier. Holding a legitimate professional driver's license and a pristine driving record.
• Ability to efficiently navigate using GPS systems and knowledge of the nearby geography.
• Proficient in managing tight schedules and demonstrating effective time management strategies.
• Strong customer service orientation accompanied by top-notch interpersonal and communication capabilities.
• Aptitude for lifting and maneuvering substantial objects while standing for extended periods
